Dr. Takahiro Yamaguchi

Takahiro (Taka) Yamaguchi received his Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008. He is currently a postdoctoral teaching fellow. Taka recently defended his dissertation "Hemispheric Differences in Face Prototype Processing." He earned his B.Sc. (1998) and M.Sc.(2005) at Central Missouri State University. Dr. Yamaguchi's research background includes assessing cognitive function and exploring cognitive processes and hemispheric differences. He is currently working in the area of face recognition. He has presented his work at meetings of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Society for Neuroscience. He has a paper on "Detecting Malingered Memory Impairment" under review.
